South America

City Nomads’ Guides To Latin America. Waterfalls, rainforest, the samba and amazing food are just some thoughts that come to mind, but there is so much more to countries like Brazil and Peru than that.

A visit to South American is something most hardcore travellers long for. It’s far away, full of majesty, rediscovered history and of course some of the most amazing parties on our world.

Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro is not just for its amazing street festivals but also for its classy Copa Cabana beachside as well as its plethora of amazing steakhouses!

On the western side of the continent, the countries of Peru and Chile will amaze you with their incredible mountains, skiing (yes, amazing skiing to be had!), the Inca trail, the famous Machu Picchu, and for the food lovers, the wonderful dish, ceviche which is quickly spreading across the world in popularity, even to the shores of City Nomads HQ in Singapore.

For the dance lovers, you might consider wanted to learn Tango at its source in Argentina’s Buenos Aires, or perhaps the adventurer in you just wants to head to the very south, Patagonia, quick simply one of the most spectacular places on earth to visit.

If you’re looking to get away from the tourist crowds and favourite hotspots, the north of South American offers some beautiful coastlines, amazing rum for the cocktail lovers and beautiful surroundings in general. We’d specifically recommend Columbia, Venezuela and Guyana for you guys.
