With the City Nomads team based in Singapore, Bali and Bangkok, you could say that travel in Asia is our bread and butter (or noodles and rice). Spending many of our long weekends in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, we try and experience everything from city life to island life, sitting by the beach, sipping on cocktails or adventurous excursions of the side of volcanos!
To say that there is a lot to see in Asia is the understatement of the year. The entire continent offers such diversity that it would take several lifetimes to explore. With this section however we intend to bring you some recommendations on our favourite places to visit perhaps lead you to some less we travelled roads.
Locations like Myanmar and Laos are gorgeous and still relatively unspoiled by tourism. Or about about a trip to the majestic Himalayas in Sikkim or Kashmir, India, or Nepal, which despite being hit by a mosterous earthquake in 2015, it completely safe to visit now and desperately needs the tourisms (we just went there in Dec 2015).
If you're looking for something a bit more luxurious and have budget to spare, South Korea and Japan must be a the top of your bucket list, with some of the most picturesque scenary you'll find anywhere and food that is so delicious you may cry tears of joy.
