Mikuni Launches Summertime Unagi Menu

Japanese tradition dictates that eating unagi in summer revitalises the body, helping it fight off the heat fatigue. Mikuni’s annual unagi festival has never disappointed and this year is no different. The four-course lunch ($168++) and six-course dinner ($218++) feature look forward to exquisite dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients like the visually stunning plate of grilled rainbow trout, eel yahata maki, fresh edamame, eel sushi, and sweet corn tempura. The main act, however, is the Hamamatsu Chargrilled Una-Jyu, a whole grilled eel on rice with Kimosui and Japanese pickles. End your meal with a sour cherry sorbet with pink guava carpaccio.
