Ding Dong’s Not So Lonely Planet Set Lunch Menu

For a new lunchtime adventure, try Ding Dong‘s new menu featuring Myanmar, Thailand, and Malaysian fare with a contemporary twist. At $31++, diners can experience a culinary journey through these countries’ cuisine’s distinct flavours. Enjoy Burmese Tomato Fish Curry made with poached cod loin with pickled shallot, before letting your taste buds fly to Malaysia for some Muar Otah with kaffir lime. The final stop in Thailand features Krabi Crab – blue swimmer crab salad with a lychee & coconut gelée. For an additional $8, try one of their three cocktails, including the Siam Dreams, a concoction of Thai green tea, Earl Grey, and coconut juice.

The Weekend Yum Cha at Auntie’s Wok and Steam

Let out some steam this weekend at Auntie’s Wok and Steam Yum Cha Weekend buffet. For $35++ per person, indulge in their extensive selections of classic steamed dim sum such as Siew Mai, Fresh Prawn Dumplings, Xiao Long Pau and Steamed Pork Ribs, as well as items like Deep-Fried Yam Puff and Wok-Fried Carrot Cake. Each diner can also select one item from their premium Yum Cha menu, which includes Lobster Congee and Wagyu Short Rib Mantou Sliders. For an extra kick to your buffet experience, you can also top up $35++ for unlimited Prosecco, wines, and Tiger beer.

Put your feet up and do as Italians do with aperitivo – a drink with a light meal that takes place at the end of a workday – at Publico Ristorante. Their newly launched sunset  Terrazza Martini hour is a partnership with Italian vermouth brand, Martini, where $12++ gets you a Martini cocktail every Sunday to Friday, from 5pm to 7pm and a complimentary antipasti plate piled with mortadella, marinated olives, breads, and cheese. Cocktail options include the Grey Goose Martini, Pesca Spritz (peach spritz), Martini Spritz, Spritz Bianco and Martini & Tonic.

Escape to the tropics with Junior The Pocket Bar‘s latest concept, Pacifica, paying homage to authentic Tiki traditions. Delve into their Legends of Liquid Lore – a definitive menu of the tiki genre, that includes the Zombie ($25), with its modern counterpart Jiangshi ($25) by Pacifica, showcasing savoury profiles over the Zombie’s traditional citrus notes. Or enjoy a selection of favourite authentic Caribbean cocktails from the olden but golden days, like the Painkiller ($25) from the 1970s – a drink based of Aged Plantation Original Dark Rum and a funky rum from St. Lucia for a more complex profile.

Tippling Club presents Once Upon a Time in Lebanon

This Wednesday, 30 January 2019, Tippling Club welcomes Julian Youssef, Head Bartender of Central Station in Beirut – No. 27 on the World’s 50 Best Bars list – for a one-night-only cocktail experience. Part of their Once Upon A Time series, guests will have the opportunity to savour five sensational cocktails concocted with Grey Goose vodka that features the iconic flavors Central Station is renowned for.

To complement Julian’s drinks, the Tippling Club kitchen will also be dishing out some traditional Lebanese cuisine with a twist. Once Upon a Time in Lebanon is priced at $155++ per person for five cocktails paired with five dishes.
