Mount Gay Unveils New Core Range

The world’s oldest running rum distillery, Mount Gay, is getting a facelift as it updates its packaging and revisits its core blends to cater to the increasingly discerning palate of rum enthusiasts. With the introduction of its first female Master Blender, Trudiann Branker, expect a more robust and bold Mount Gay Black Barrel that incorporates an older selection of rums and an enhanced rich, creamy blend for Mount Gay XO that benefits from a broader palette of rums: American Whiskey, Bourbon and Cognac — aged for five to 17 years rather than the previous eight to 15 years.

Also, keep a lookout for the release of limited edition 1703 Master Selects and a new Master Blender collection due out before the end of 2020.

Mount Gay‘s new core range will be available for purchase at selected cocktail bars and retailers in Singapore. Visit their website for information.
