The Oscars are the most coveted awards in Hollywood. However the ‘Big Five Awards’ are the most desired and the most elusive. They are for Best Picture, Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Screenplay. Many have been nominated for them, but only three movies in Hollywood history have won all five. In the lead up to the 86th Academy Awards on 2 March, we are proud to present to you the three films that have achieved the rare feat of being the Oscar Big Five Winners: It Happened One Night, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and The Silence of the Lambs.
