The Savage/Love of Danny and The Deep Blue Sea

Savage

The Stage Club and director Kamil Haque is delighted to present The Savage/Love of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, a double-bill production integrating live theatre & film. If you’ve seen their critically acclaimed, you’d recognised Kamil as the creepy Uday Hussein, in our critically acclaimed “Bengal Tiger”.

Savage/Love, co-written by Pulitzer Prize winner Sam Shepard and Obie Award recipient Joseph Chaikin presents a series of relatable vignettes about love. Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, written by Oscar, Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley, is a darkly comic story of two seemingly doomed strangers, Danny and Roberta.

This is an exciting mixed media production and would definitely make an ideal ‘post-Valentine’ date. Catch it later this month at the Alliance Francaise Theatre.

The Savage/Love of Danny and The Deep Blue Sea is running from 24 to 27 February 2016 at the Alliance Francaise Theatre, 7.30pm. Tickets are priced from $37 (concessions available) and are available at SISTIC.
