Probably the cosiest space for a convivial Sunday brunch on the list, the best of Ash & Elm comes from it’s three culinary theatres. Beside our favourite Charcuterie and Cheese Room (be sure to try their house cured beef pastrami and smoked pork loin), the Charcoal Grill is where you’ll find the Sunday roast and small plates like Boston Lobster Risotto, Pan-Fried Duck Foie Gras, and Chargrilled Iberico Pork Loin cooked a la minute. Meanwhile, they’ve widened their seafood offerings (including the crowd pleasing sushi and sashimi counters) and a roving server dishing out the weekly specials like Grilled Slipper Lobster.

It’s a massive spread at mezza9, with nine dynamic dining experiences all in one venue. One of Singapore’s oldest brunches, look forward to fresh seafood – Maine lobsters, Scottish brown crab, Spencer Gulf king prawns, and Pacific rock oysters –, tons of Asian dishes, and a good selection of cheese. The meats were the highlight for us at mezza9, with beautifully roasted lamb and beef, served with all the yorkies you want. Besides free-flowing champagne, look forward to premium Cloudy Bay and Parker Coonawarra wines, beers, mojitos, and bloody marys.

Trust us when we say that the priciest Sunday brunch on the list is well worth it. Besides the only venue offering Billecart-Salmon champagne, the spread of  gourmet hors d’ouevres, artisanal cheese, antipasti, and main courses is possibly the most lavish as well. Signature highlights at the Bar & Billiard Room include freshly shucked Belón, Fine de Claire and Gillardeau oysters, Maine lobsters on ice, pan-seared foie gras cooked a la minute, a gorgeous meat selection from the carvery (we went gaga over the seven types of mustard they serve with the roast beef), and the finest cured cuts from Europe.
