Established playwright Tan Liting presents a new confessional theatre piece featuring the voices of young acting professionals and theatre veterans sharing why they love what they do, even when the odds are against them. The Truth About Lying is based on interviews with emerging performers such as Chanel Chan M. Haja, Andrew Sutherland, as well as veterans such as Lim Kay Siu, Neo Swee Lin, Janice Koh, and Lim Yu Beng.

The Truth About Lying is happening from 21 to 24 April 2016 at Drama Centre Black Box. Tickets are priced at $35 are are available via SISTIC.

That is why The Local People is transforming Enabling Village’s carpark into the TLP Art Market you know and love. Watch films and documentaries under the stars on Airmocks, and enjoy sets by acoustic songwriters. The mic is open for anyone interested to serenade the audience, so do bring down your guitars and cajons.
