Between bites of beef short rib rendang and curry crusted red snapper representing modern Singapore, the Samsui Woman is reminiscing about her glory days as a Chinese immigrant with her grandchild. The finale takes place 99 years from the present alongside a futuristic dessert of 66% Valrhona Chocolate.
