Simply named for its address, No. 5 Emerald Hill has a great number of cost-effective drinking options. Conveniently located near Orchard Road, this Peranakan-styled bar’s daily happy hour promos run till 9pm, and include draft beers and house spirits priced at $8 to $9, while a tipple of wine will set you back $10. Feeling famished? Check out their famous Har Cheong Gai, or prawn-paste chicken.

Tanuki Raw’s happy hour special includes oysters! With every $12 pint of beer or $10 martini and cocktails ordered, you can get up to six freshly shucked oysters for just $2 each. It looks as if the people behind Jigger & Pony have got it right. Their happy hour prices are an absolute snatch, with colourful craft cocktails like the Flamingo (Aperol, grapefruit, passionfruit, and Prosecco) and classics like the Old Fashioned (Bulleit Bourbon, Angostura bitters, and sugar) going at $14 from 6pm to 8pm. Plus, most of their tasty bar snacks like the Bikini Sandwich and Mustard Fried Chicken are going at $10.

The 1925 Brewing Company
A standard-bearer of craft beer brewing in Singapore, The 1925 Brewing Company has themed drinking promotions that vary daily. For example, you receive a free pint of beer with every two purchased on Friday (3pm to 6pm), and 20% off all wines on Saturday (all night long).
