Review: Finn’s Beach Club – A Modern Paradise in Canggu, Bali

entrance at finn's beach club

Built from sustainable bamboo materials, Finn’s Beach Club offers relaxing facilities; from the comfort of single and double-day beds on the beach or swim in a stunning 30-metre infinity edge pool with swim up bar and underwater speakers. An open-air bamboo pavilion dining area provides a casual yet classy for meals; and if you prefer a view from the top, the second level has two bars and a sunset lounge which offers a cinemascope ocean view.

Apart from the exquisite architecture, no one should leave Finn’s without a dining experience. A good start to our dinner was a Chénola cocktail (RP 120k), a light-rum based cocktail with peach liqueur, passion fruit and lemon juice. Sweet, sour, refreshing.

Moving on to the solids, we had Finn’s Antipasto (Rp 220k) to share. It’s a big platter that comes with parma ham, Kalamata green and black olives, marinated artichoke, asparagus, grilled zucchini, sun dried tomatoes, burrata, parmesan Regianio and tomato bruschetta.

We then proceeded to fill our stomachs with The Finn’s signature Parma Ham Pizza (Rp 220k) and Braised Lamb Shank (Rp 280k); the slow-cooked lamb shank, osso buck style, is topped with gremalata sauted cherry tomato and edamame, served with risotto Milanese. So beautifully soft and tender that it practically melts in your mouth.

Wrap this dinner experience with Banoffee Tartlet (Rp 75k) – dulce de leche, banana and caramel mousse served with Balinese vanilla ice cream. If you prefer sweets that are not that sweet at all, go for the Valhrona 70% Bitter Chocolate Cake (Rp 75k) with pistachio ice cream.

If you’re looking to laze your whole afternoon away at Finn’s Beach Club, there is a minimum spend for single beds at Rp 250k and Rp 500k for day beds (for 6 persons). Whether you’re a local expat residing in Bali or a tourist looking to explore outside of the Seminyak area, Finn’s Beach Club is definitely worth a visit.

Finn’s Beach Club is located at Jl. Pantai Berawa, Canggu, Badung, Bali, Indonesia. Open daily from 7am to 12am. For enquiries or table reservations, please email [email protected]
