VINTAGE FASHION POP UP @ 265 SOUTH BRIDGE ROAD
Vintage1961 x Pong Pong Vintage x Hurstville: The Heir by Underground
To enrich the theatre experience of Hurstville: The Heir, where the audience will traverse through a time warp to the 1930s, vintage fashion brands Vintage1961 and Pong Pong Vintage have put together a curated showcase of vintage accoutrements, where the audience can enjoy the authentic style embodied by the actors and set of Hurstville. Costumes worn by the actors are sponsored by Vintage1961 to lend a touch of “olde tyme” to the play.
The showcase includes vintage treasures that were made 50-60 years ago sourced from all over the world, as well as items that are designed and crafted after the style of a particular era.
After the show, attendees can bring a vestige of vintage home from the shop and enjoy 10% off by presenting their show ticket. The shop will also open during three weekends in March and April 2020 especially for vintage lovers.

Vintage 1961
Vintage1961 is a Hong Kong based vintage shop founded in 2015 and it’s recently exploring the vintage scene in Singapore. Milki, the founder, has loved vintage since 14 years old. In 2015, she decided to start an online shop sharing the love of vintage clothes.
Slowly yet steadily, the business has grown into one of the top vintage shops in Hong Kong selling vintage for ladies from almost head-to-toe.
Crazily in love with the mid-century elegant style, Milki has started to design vintage-inspired clothing with every piece handmade by experienced tailors to recreate the elegant good old times.
She also travels around the world looking for not only vintage treasures, but also handcrafted products by passionate artisans.
With a 400sq ft physical store on Hong Kong Island, Vintage1961 also provides international online shopping service via website(www.vintage1961.me) and APP (Vintage1961 available on iOS and Andriod).

Pong Pong Vintage
Pong Pong Vintage is a Singapore-based vintage accessories shop. Started by Yenping, a history buff and long-time vintage jewellery collector, she enjoys admiring them as artefacts of beauty and the stories behind each of them, even when she doesn’t wear them. Her collection comes from many nooks in the world and spans several eras of manufacture. For this showcase, she has curated a selection from the 1960s-1970s of especially Czech crystal.
