Timber Timbre Live in Singapore

Hot on the heels of our latest show with Ibeyi, Figure8 Agency is pleased to announce yet another stellar act with the debut performance of Canadian psychedelic folk band, Timber Timbre.

Known for their dark cinematic sound, the group made of Canadian members Taylor Kirk, Simon Trottier, Mathieu Charbonneau and Mark Wheaton, are excited to showcase the pinnacle of their imagistic records to Singapore fans for the first time ever. Many might recognise their showrunner tunes featuring popular Netflix series such as Breaking Bad, The Good Wife, Orange is the New Black and The Blacklist, to name a few. Timber Timbre’s fourth album, Creep on Creepin’ On, was also one of ten shortlisted nominees for the Polaris Music Prize, losing to Arcade Fire’s ‘The Suburbs’ in 2011.

Expect a cinematic dazzling dystopia, with breezy and chill beats to carry the night away. Kirk’s chilling croon and the mid-apocalyptic setting of his poetry covers a spectrum of New Age to Popular French Disco Revival, with a sound that is synthetic, exotic, yet familiar.
