We are passionate in promoting the education of the gypsy flamenco culture in order to preserve its history in a modern world through high-quality, entertaining events.

Roots of Flamenco is proud to present Selene Muñoz, an award-winning dancer and choreographer internationally known for her productions combining the art of flamenco with contemporary art. Selene began her dance training at the age of 4. At the age of 9, she created her first dance production. At 14, she attended the renowned Flamenco Academy Amor de Dios and graduated from the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza (Royal Conservatory of Dance) in 2009.

Selene Muñoz also founded the dance company Danzart where she shines the light on fundamental themes of human life and relevant issues of today’s modern society through dance and musical performances. Selene’s performances are a fascinating fusion of musicality, costume design, and artistic collaborations blending cultures and styles.
