Buona Italia! at Carousel, Royal Plaza on Scotts

Fall in love with the authentic flavours of Italy with Italian chef Dario Busnelli, who will make his Singapore guest chef debut at Carousel, Royal Plaza on Scotts from 12 to 25 August 2019. With up to forty menu highlights, go beyond pizza and pasta at the Buona Italia! dinner buffet, and immerse in the world of traditional Italian home-cooked goodness.

Spending most of his growing up years in a small town in Lombardy, Northern Italy, Chef Dario’s culinary journey was inspired by the local specialties prepared by his grandmother and the variety of traditional cuisine in Italy’s many regions.

Today, passion, simplicity and tradition are what best describes his cuisine.

With an extensive menu, here are the dishes not to be missed – Tagliata di Manzo, old-fashioned fine herb prime rib roast tagliata; Raviolone alla Bergese, Bergese style whole raviolo with spinach and ricotta filling, quail egg yolk served with sage and butter noisette, grated aged castelmagno cheese; Risotto al Nero di Seppia con Frutti di Mare, black ink risotto with fresh seafood of the day; Pizza al Frutti di Mare, specially created by chef Dario for Carousel, this 48-hour proofed pizza is topped with a variety of fresh seafood and olives.

The Buona Italia! buffet will be available from 12 to 25 August, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on weekdays at $80 (adults) and $46 (children); weekends at $88 (adults) and $49 (children).

The promotion will run concurrently with the Let’s Get Crackin’ lobsters and crabs dinner buffet on Mondays (12 and 19 August 2019).
