2019 Jakarta Spring Sale Modern and Contemporary Art

33 Auction Jakarta is proud to present the 2019 Spring Sale on the 24th of March. The sale will take place at 3.30pm Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta, Kalimantan and Maluku Room, and the preview will commence from the 22nd of March to the 23rd of March, from 10 am till 10pm at the same location.

The sale will offer perennial favourites like paintings by Modern Indonesian art masters Willem Gerard Hofker, Srihadi Soedarsono, Dullah, Basoeki Abdullah, and Arie Smit. We are also pleased to include the thought provoking contemporary work of I Nyoman Masriadi , a leading artist of the post-Suharto era in this sale.

For the first time, 33 Auction Jakarta will present a second session of fine Chinese ceramics and objects of art. Included in this inaugural session is a number of exquisite Longquan Celadon ceramics from the Song dynasty (1127 – 1279), as well as a Chansha Ewer from the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907). Also worth mentioning is a range of very precious Kangxi wares from the 17th to 18th Century, attesting to the completeness of this collection.
