Dash Hotel Seminyak, Bali: A Home Base in Petitenget

For those who are looking to be in the middle of it all in Seminyak, Dash, Seminyak Bali is your perfect holiday home base.
Located on the (in)famous Jalan Petitenget, Dash is 10 minutes (on foot) from hip hangouts Motel Mexicola and Hu’u, fine dining establishments Sarong and Merah Putih, and Ku De Ta and Seminyak Beach. Potato Head beach Club is also an easy five-minute stroll away.
A mish mash of industrial forms, urban culture, and graffiti imparts a sort of retro-chill vibe to the hotel. Think a bright red 20-metre lap pool presided by an upside down bunny flanked with patio furniture in hues of bright pink and blue, solid red brick walls, and bedrooms chock full of funky artwork.
Each of the 139 rooms, across three room categories, are individually styled and come with en-suite bathrooms with rain showers, a complimentary non-alcoholic mini bar, free Wi-Fi, and other amenities you’d expect of a four-star boutique hotel. For the fun-loving couple, the entry dash Studio is more than adequate with 32 square metres (344 square feet) of space, but you’re looking to go a little more luxe, the dash Deluxe (48 square metres, 516 square feet) includes a bathtub for relaxing soaks.
Larger groups can take advantage of the dash Two (96 square metres, 1033 square feet), which features a living room with a dining area.
Though there are a plethora of food options at Dash’s doorstep, Mya’s all-you-can-eat a la carte buffet breakfast sports an impressive selection, with everything from the local Balinese Nasi Jinggo and Mie Ayam Jamur to the traditional English Breakfast. The dinner menu is also well thought of, with delicious delicious Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and Indian food – what they call ‘hot and fresh’ cuisines – if you’re looking for causal places outside of local and café food.
