The Cocktail Social Series Presents: Neon Pigeon x TokyoLima

Coming in all the way from Hong Kong, Peruvian Chef Arturo Melendez and Bar Manager Dom Carella of TokyoLima are set for an extraordinary takeover at Neon Pigeon. This two-night collaboration marks the second instalment of The Cocktail Social Series, and sees the heat of Peru juxtaposed against the delicate flavours of Japan in a gorgeous line-up of Nikkei-inspired dishes (think La Causa and Ribs in red miso-panca sauce) and daring cocktails you won’t want to miss. Grab your seats fast!

The Cocktail Social Series Presents: Neon Pigeon x TokyoLima is happening from 1 to 2 August 2018, 6pm – 8pm at Neon Pigeon. Tickets are priced at $95++ per person, available here.

And for this inaugural series, the evening revolves around stripped down and intimate shows by indie crooner Linying, four-piece funk and soul group Astronauts, and underground rapper Nikhil Senan.

Umamisounds: Opening Ears is happening on Friday, 3 August 2018, 7.30pm at 372 Telok Blangah Rd, Singapore 098836. Tickets are priced at $22, available here.

Just bring along a recyclable glass, plastic bottle, or aluminium drink can in exchange for a bottle of Tiger, as well as a hearty snack bowl.

A Pop-Up Bar by Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore is happening from 3 to 5 August 2018 at Kult Kafe, 11 Upper Wilkie Rd, Singapore 228120. Admission is free.

Of Frames and Passing Time – The Gift of a Year

In 2017, John Clang’s father took a photograph of his life in Singapore every day and sends them to his son in New York City. With those 365 photos, Clang reassembled and rephotographed those that resonated with him most as a reflection that corresponds to each month of his life. The result? Of Frames and Passing Time presents 12 works of image and writing that provoke us to contemplate physical and emotional proximity and distance in our relationships. This exhibition is also part of a fund raising effort to make DECK permanent.

Of Frames and Passing Time – The Gift of a Year is happening from now till 4 August at DECK. Admission is free.
