Catch One of Singapore’s Political Plays

Studying overseas was, and still is, a rite of passage for many an undergrad − which is why Robert Yeo’s 1970s play Are You There Singapore? remains so timeless today. One of Singapore’s earliest political plays, this coming-of-age drama traces the lives of four university students in London as they grapple with the messy glory of adulthood − from experiencing political awakening to cultural clashes to an unplanned pregnancy. Strap in for laughs, tears, and insights from the 2020 restaging of this classic by The Stage Club.

Are You There Singapore? by The Stage Club runs from 5 to 8 February 2020 at KC Arts Centre – Home of SRT, 20 Merbau Rd, Singapore 239035. Tickets are priced from S$40.
