This week, we’are in the midst of Christmas while counting down to the New Year. What better way to celebrate the double dose of festivities than partying it up like it’s (truly) going to be 2019? Folks looking for tamer activities can look to the greenery of Citizen Farm or something literati driven at BooksActually.

Head down to Wheeler’s Estate at the Seletar Aerospace Park and browse the wares of local artisanal crafters; perhaps you’ll pick up some cute handmade cards from Nuffypuffy or abstract geometric tableware from Party Modern. Munch on festive bakes and enjoy the last of the festive melodies by some very talented buskers too.

The Family that Farms Together Tour
Learn what it’s like to be an urban farmer and how crops are grown sustainably in this family-friendly event! Witness what urban farming can do for societal inclusivity through interactions with farmers and engage all your senses as farmer of the day: feed the free-ranging chickens (Sarah, Chris and Darren), smell, taste and touch edible plants, and even plant some seeds. You might even get to take some home.
