Singapore Festival Of The Arts

Having kicked off to a roaring start last week, let the celebration of all things art continue with Singapore Festival of the Arts. Don’t miss the Southeast Asian Premiere of An Enemy of The People (11 & 12 May) by SchaubĂĽhne Berlin (Germany) and attend an invigorating talk by the artistic director Thomas Ostermeier (11 May). Beautiful dance performances like The Blues Project (8 & 9 May), explosive tap dancing set to emotive blues music from America are also in the programme. Classical music fans will be treated to a virtuosic evening of incredible music with Nico Muhly (11 May).

European Union Film Festival

Now in its 28th edition, the European Union Film Festival is happening from 10 to 20 May this year at the National Gallery, Singapore. BottlesXO x The Republic of Poland Presents Poolapalooza: Poland Shiok

Poland Shiok! 2018 is a month-long festival celebrating all things Polish, and it comes to a close 12 May at Siloso Beach, Sentosa, with Poolapalooza. The family extravaganza during the day has something for everyone, from water activities like stand-up paddleboard and jetpacks to bubble roving for the kids. It’s a full-on party at night with the sweet beats of Sound Traveler, Jonathan Kusama and Rah, and refreshing Żubrówka cocktails.

Poolapalooza: Poland Shiok! is happening from 12 May 2018 10am to 12am at Siloso Beach Sentosa. Free admission for all.

Escape 56 Feat. John Talabot (Hivern Disc / ES)

After a month-long hiatus, Blackout Agency returns on Wednesday, 9 May with Spanish DJ legend John Talbot. One of EDM’s most sought-after artists, John is back in Singapore after five long years, but party goers can be assured of an epic night of partying. Read more about it here.
