Without a doubt, Singapore’s the cocktail capital of Asia. With 11 bars in the Asia’s 50 Best Bar 2019 list (and four of those firmly in the top 10), this little red dot is the place to be for cocktail lovers and bar aficionados alike. Singapore also boasts some of the world’s best beer bars with local establishments like Smith Street Taps being highlighted on the world stage and international craft beer brewer Mikkeller having an outpost here.

With so many places to drink, and so little time, it can be a little difficult to keep track – but if you think you know the Singapore bar scene well enough, put your knowledge to the test by joining the inaugural City Nomads Negroni Circuit 2019! In collaboration with Campari and The Bar Awards, it’s a race to find the best bars, build your own Negroni on the way, and burn off calories whilst doing it.

Kicking off at Don Ho on Keong Saik Road at 6pm on Saturday, 28 September 2019, the briefing will commence over a couple of Negronis (you can also look forward to complimentary Negronis at the end of it). Each team of two will be given two questions: one that’s a clue to the next bar on the circuit, and the other that will gain you the next mission and one component of the Negroni, if answered correctly. Simply solve and answer the questions, find the bars, collect all the ingredients, and be the fastest to reach the final bar to win.

In celebration of the centennial anniversary of the Negroni, pairs that show up dressed in red gets a bonus 100 seconds off their total time. If you’re on social media, you’ll also be pleased to know that you’re entitled to 10 seconds off the total time for an Instagram story at each stop on the circuit.

The top team will receive a cash prize of S$300 while the first and second runners up will receive Campari bottles and various memorabilia. Did we mention that all registered teams that take part in the circuit will receive complimentary entry to The Bar Awards Party on Sunday, 29 September 2019 – worth S$40 with free-flow cocktails all night – at Zouk? Registration is free, so grab a partner and get ready to hop around the bars in Singapore for an unforgettable Saturday night!
